MLR is seeking a
meticulous Histology Technician
in the
Stone Mountain area
to deliver essential histological services that are vital for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This full-time position offers flexible shifts to accommodate a variety of schedules.
Key Responsibilities: Tissue Processing & Slide Preparation: Perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining to prepare high-quality slides for microscopic examination. Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and compliance with safety standards. Special Staining: Assist with specialized staining techniques, including immunohistochemistry, to aid in comprehensive tissue analysis. Specimen Management: Accurately label, document, and track specimens, ensuring the integrity of patient information and test results. ASCP Histology Technician - Full-Time Qualifications:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology or a related field. Certification: ASCP certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL). Experience: 1+ years of experience in a histology lab setting preferred. Benefits:
