The
AVP of Business Development for Hospice
is responsible for leading Aveanna's hospice sales organization. This role directs the activities and strategy of the hospice field sales team to ensure goals and performance objectives are achieved. It involves developing, mentoring, and monitoring sales teams to reach optimal performance levels, as well as strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting. The position includes analyzing competition and market trends, deploying resources to increase market share, overseeing the implementation of corporate and brand programs, and identifying revenue opportunities. The role also involves developing and training the sales team to improve effectiveness. The AVP will oversee hospice sales teams in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, requiring regular travel to branch locations in these states. Candidates may reside in any of these states. Essential Job Functions
Develop and implement segment strategies to meet regional/area goals. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual sales meetings. Understand and manage hospice-related financial metrics to meet revenue and margin targets. Lead forecasting, margin management, resource planning, and customer communication. Build and maintain top-level relationships within the customer base. Present proposals to improve overall performance. Monitor competition activities and services. Mentor and develop sales directors and leaders reporting to this role. Requirements
Bachelor's degree. Six years of hospice sales experience. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Current drivers license and acceptable MVR. Aveanna Healthcare Offers
