A well-established veterinary clinic in Torrance is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic is dedicated to celebrating the special bond between pets and their owners by providing compassionate, honest, and innovative care. With a modern, 8,000 sq. ft. facility fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the clinic offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic, medical, dental, and surgical services for both canines and felines. This practice goes beyond typical veterinary care by offering behavioral and nutritional counseling, alternative vaccination protocols, and same-day walk-ins along with urgent care services. The clinic ensures pets receive care whenever they need it, offering a diverse range of services including dental care, wellness exams, preventative care, surgery, microchipping, spaying and neutering, radiology, in-house diagnostics, geriatric pet care, end-of-life care, and endoscopy. Currently staffed by three GP doctors and one ER doctor, the practice is expanding into an additional 5,000 sq. ft. suite dedicated to ER and overnight care. Until this expansion is complete, the ER doctor is focusing on both general practice and urgent care. This role offers an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about high-quality care and enjoys mentoring others. The Lead Veterinarian will play a crucial role in guiding clinical protocols, mentoring staff, and driving the growth of the practice. The position is well-suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, appreciates the chance to work with a range of cases from routine exams to emergencies, and is eager to shape the future of a growing practice.
