is looking to contract immediately with a self-employed Dog Sitter in the Mountain View-Peninsula metro area.
The position is very flexible: you set your own hours, service area, and when you want to work. Get paid to take care of adorable dogs—a dream for anyone who loves tails, barks, and paws!

A Day in the Life of a Dog Sitter Dog Sitters visit dogs in client’s homes for drop-in visits (30, 45, or 60 minutes, once or twice daily, or for 10-hour overnight stays) OR dog walks (30, 60, or 90-minute private walks or 60-minute group walks). Before your first visit, you’ll meet each client and their dog for a meet and greet, discuss the care routine, and review contingency plans for emergencies. During visits, you’ll follow the client’s instructions, socialize with the dog, leave the home spotless, and send daily updates via our pet sitting app.
What to Expect
Meet & Greet:
Learn about your canine clients’ needs and routines.
Dog Care Done Right:
Follow detailed instructions for feeding, water, cleaning, and medications.
Happy Hours:
Spend quality time with dogs, offering love, cuddles, or play based on their personality.
Walking:
Conduct group or private walks in the neighborhood or agreed location.
Light Housekeeping:
Complete small tasks like watering plants, collecting mail, and taking out trash.
Daily Updates:
Keep owners informed with updates and photos through our app.
Requirements Essential Traits:
At least 18 years old
Experience caring for dogs (professional experience is a plus but NOT required)
Ability to walk, run, pull, push, bend or reach for extended periods
Capable of handling all sizes of dogs
Smartphone with internet, texting, and camera capabilities
Ability to pass background check and provide references
Compassion, patience, and reliability
Organized and systematic, able to track schedules and keys
Ability to handle emergencies and unexpected situations
Physically and mentally capable of demanding work
Desirable Extras:
Pet first aid/CPR certification or experience with medications/injections
Calm, reliable, organized personality
Availability during peak times, especially winter holidays
