Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support our Washington, DC office. The candidate will coordinate Information Assurance Accreditation for unmanned surface and undersea vehicles (UxVs), working with shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining network accreditation across the PMS 406 UxV portfolio in accordance with DoD/DoN cybersecurity policies. What will you do?

Organize and coordinate unmanned surface and undersea vehicles (UxVs) Information Assurance Accreditation. This includes coordinating with Shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO, and other stakeholders to accredit and maintain the accreditation of the networks for UxVs within the PMS 406 portfolio. Do you have what it takes?

Required skills: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent (Computer Science and Engineering would be considered an equivalent degree) 10 to 15 years of relevant experience Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to sustain it Preferred skills: Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent (Computer Science and Engineering would be considered an equivalent degree) CISM, CISSP certifications 15 or more years of relevant experience in information assurance/cybersecurity accreditation Knowledge of DoD/DoN procedures and policies for Information Assurance Accreditation, electronics, robotics, and computer programming/software engineering Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is

$85,000 - $150,000

annually, which serves as a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations, and contractual requirements, which may result in an offer outside this range. This position is contingent upon contract award.
