$123,000 - $241,400
annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to
$182,200
annually. Salary offers are based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and organizational needs. Applicants are encouraged to include a cover letter and resume. Final candidates may be asked to provide a presentation during the hiring process. Position Responsibilities The Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) will provide exceptional procurement and business contract services campus-wide. Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor-Business & Financial Services (BFS), the CPO is part of the BFS Leadership team. The role involves collaboration across campus units, strategic planning, and management of Procurement Services and Business Contracts. Responsibilities include developing value-added business processes, streamlining procure-to-pay workflows, optimizing cost savings, managing procurement card programs, and facilitating business contracts. Qualifications and Requirements Applicants must have current work authorization for a UCR staff position. We are unable to sponsor or process employment visas at this time. Additional Information As a University employee, you must comply with all applicable policies and collective bargaining agreements, which may be amended. Additional requirements may be imposed by federal, state, or local government directives.
