Selby Jennings has engaged with the M&A arm of a Global Investement Bank looking for an Associate for their team in San Francisco. This M&A operates on lean staffing, but collaborative between the overall Investment Banking units, and is looking to bolster their Associate class due to an uptick in deal flow.

Key Responsibilities: Transaction Execution:
Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including preparing pitch books, financial models, and transaction documents. Financial Analysis:
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence. Market Research:
Perform industry and market research to identify trends, potential targets, and strategic opportunities. Client Interaction:
Support senior bankers in client meetings, presentations, and communications. Documentation:
Prepare and review transaction-related documentation, including information memoranda, management presentations, and term sheets. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with senior bankers, analysts, and other team members to ensure seamless execution of transactions. Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus. Experience:
2-4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with a focus on technology M&A. Skills:
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases. Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients and team members. Attention to Detail:
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work. Team Player:
