The Department of Surgery and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seek a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. Responsibilities include providing surgical services at Northwestern Medicine's downtown Chicago locations, training residents, taking call, rounding, and caring for pre-op and post-op patients in collaboration with the clinical team. The role involves responding to daily consultation requests and referrals, and playing a key part in the growth and coordination of care within our cancer program. There are significant opportunities for leadership development across Northwestern Medicine. This position includes a faculty appointment within the Division of Surgical Oncology at Northwestern University and offers a chance to join a team of leading clinicians, educators, and researchers. Northwestern Medicine is a nationally recognized academic medical system, with a highly-ranked Cancer service line and a prominent Department of Surgery supported by NIH funding. Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have completed a fellowship in Endocrine Surgery or Surgical Oncology, with a strong background in endocrine surgery. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible in general surgery.
