Job Title: Test Engineer
Location(s): White Plains, NY
Project Overview
Client is undergoing a multi-year ERP transformation to automate, streamline, and modernize processes for increased efficiency across departments such as Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Strategic Supply Management (SSM), and IT. The goal is to implement a composable ERP system that integrates all business functions into a unified platform.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
Support testing activities on the project, review vendor test activities and deliverables.
Facilitate automation testing in Tricentis Tosca with DEX environment.
Create, update, and support automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
Execute automation tests.
Support defect management and triaging issues.
Create and review Functional test plans and test scripts.
Collaborate on Technical Requirements documentation.
Create Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Develop test strategy, scenarios, and scripts.
Assist in stakeholder communications.
Prepare weekly status reports, meeting agendas, materials, and minutes.
Skills
10+ years of experience as a test automation engineer, with strong expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts in Tricentis Tosca using TCD approach.
Extensive experience in integration testing, including API testing, defect tracking, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Experience in SAP/S4 HANA testing, especially ISU- Utilities, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
Familiarity with various databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB).
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, Karate.
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).
Knowledge of browser developer tools and mobile testing frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Robot Framework) is a plus.
Understanding of mobile OS platforms (iOS, Android).
Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, or VBScript is a plus.
Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub.
Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent.
Testing certifications such as ISTQB or Tricentis TOSCA certifications are a plus.
