As a
Principal , you will work alongside industry leaders and experienced consultants, contributing to a broad range of client solutions. You will gain significant interaction and visibility with Oliver Wyman’s clients, including top-tier insurance companies and health systems. Your responsibilities include leading client pursuit and execution teams, managing client relationships, overseeing projects, and peer review. Potential projects may include: Bid development and pricing: leading product pricing, strategic positioning, and product design, developing assumptions, providing actuarial certification, and supporting bid submissions. Feasibility studies: assisting clients with new product entries or expansions, developing financial projections to assess market risks. Experience studies: analyzing client lines of business to understand drivers of financial results. Product design and positioning: conducting competitive landscape analyses to inform product and market strategies. Collaboration: partnering with Oliver Wyman’s management consulting practice on broader strategy engagements. Qualifications and Desired Skills
FSA with 8+ years of experience in the actuarial field. Experience in consulting. Proven business development skills, including sourcing, client relationship building, and expanding engagements. Excellent communication skills. Strong project and time management abilities. Ability to work independently and lead junior staff. Leadership in collaborative team settings.
