The Advanced Analytics team at BeOne Medicines seeks an
Associate Director, AI Innovation
to lead the integration of AI-driven platforms, focusing on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models and agentic AI to synthesize large datasets and generate insights. This role enhances data-driven decision-making across Commercial, Medical, and cross-functional teams globally, supporting patient outcomes and business growth. As a strategic partner, you will translate complex data into clear insights, helping optimize business performance, improve patient engagement, and accelerate oncology innovation. Our team comprises data scientists, AI specialists, and analytics experts committed to fostering a culture of AI-driven insights through rapid iteration, open feedback, and constructive debate. Essential Functions
Lead the development and integration of AI platforms, including RAG models and agentic AI, to automate data synthesis and insight generation. Develop RAG pipelines for real-time, context-aware insights to support decision-making. Leverage agentic AI to build autonomous AI agents that optimize recommendations and adapt to changing needs. Apply advanced AI techniques (NLP, deep learning, predictive analytics) to transform data into strategic insights. Create AI-driven decision-support tools to enhance commercial strategies and medical engagement. Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to identify opportunities and deploy AI solutions effectively. Evaluate and refine AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and impact. Design scalable analytics frameworks for real-time data interpretation and scenario modeling. Conduct exploratory analyses using deep learning, NLP, and generative AI to uncover insights. Stay updated on AI innovations, evaluating new methodologies and tools. Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring strategic alignment. Education & Qualifications
Master's or PhD in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field. PhD with 8+ years or Master's with 10+ years in AI analytics, machine learning, or data science. 8+ years consulting or industry experience in pharma or related fields. Hands-on experience with RAG models, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS), and AI tools (Snowflake, Databricks, LangChain). Deep understanding of agentic AI, NLP, deep learning, and ML algorithms. Experience with big data environments (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP). Business & Leadership Skills
Ability to translate AI insights into strategic recommendations. Strong influencing and collaboration skills across functions. Experience leading impactful AI initiatives. Excellent communication and storytelling skills for executive audiences. Other Details
