Located in Hillcrest, the McGrath Outpatient Pavilion is a state-of-the-art, 250,000-square-foot medical facility designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of our region. Spanning six floors, this advanced facility is home to key clinical programs and offers specialized diagnostic, treatment, and surgical services. With a strong emphasis on cancer care, we are committed to delivering world-class medical services in a patient-centered environment. Job Description
Radiation Therapy Technologists perform a variety of therapeutic procedures using ionizing radiation to treat benign or malignant diseases, and perform related duties as assigned. They collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Dosimetrists to discuss treatment plans, prepare patients, operate equipment, monitor patient reactions, and document treatment details. Responsibilities include calculating dosages, preparing applicators, operating simulation and radiographic equipment, evaluating film quality, performing minor equipment adjustments, and ensuring safety and accuracy in treatment delivery. The technologist functions as part of a team, working independently with super voltage and orthovoltage equipment. Minimum Qualifications
California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) Registered Technologist for Radiation Therapy (ARRT R.T(T)) BART or BLS certification at hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months Experience with patient setup and treatment Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a large healthcare environment Experience with CT simulations, MU calculations, Aria, and treatment planning software Special Conditions
Flexible working hours and locations Criminal background check and pre-employment physical required Ability to float to other locations up to 30% of the time Compensation
Annual full pay range: $118,181 - $146,933. Hourly: $56.60 - $70.37. Compensation factors include experience, skills, education, licensure, and organizational needs.
