We are seeking self-motivated, safe, positive, enthusiastic, goal-oriented individuals for an immediate opening as a
FBO (Fixed Base Operation) General Manager . The General Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, safety, efficient management and operation, maintenance, and financial performance of the FBO facility and services. The role requires compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies issued by local, state, and federal authorities.
Previous FBO/Aviation management experience is mandatory. The responsibilities of the General Manager include: Maximizing customer satisfaction while ensuring the safe delivery of Atlantic Aviation's products and services. Leading and developing employees to perform at the highest standards. Managing a cross-functional team including operations, customer service, sales, and local accounting, motivating each to outperform targets and benchmarks. Ensuring compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and policies. Overseeing all business functions of the FBO, including service delivery, physical plant condition, staffing, equipment, and maintenance. Leading efforts to maintain existing business and develop new opportunities through monitoring margins, negotiating fuel and hangar agreements, and resolving customer issues. Serving as the direct liaison with the managing entity of the home airport. Managing the financial aspects of the facility, including budgeting and forecasting. Performing other duties as assigned. Applicants must have previous aviation/FBO management experience and flexibility with their schedule, as operations run 24/7. Minimum requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred). 5–8 years of specialized general aviation experience; airline or other aviation-related experience considered. Proven financial, administrative, and management capabilities. A proven track record of excellence. A passion for excellence with a strong ethical focus. Robust problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and be on call. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirements. Ability to pass a background check.
