Clinical Psychology Fellows will spend 1-2 years receiving specialized training in clinical psychology. They are expected to carry a client caseload which includes the provision of individual therapy, care coordination, and entering progress notes; develop, plan, and facilitate group therapy; develop and implement a program evaluation project. Rotations will be based at various sites affiliated with the Massachusetts Mental Health Center (MMHC) and in Outpatient Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Clinical Psychology Fellows will also be expected to provide supervision to clinical psychology practicum students. Fellows will attend didactic offerings including grand rounds at MMHC and BIDMC. They will receive two hours of supervision per week, one of which will be from a licensed clinician at their assigned rotation. They will have some time (approximately 1 day/week) to engage in independent research or teaching that is related to their clinical service. They will receive annual progress evaluations.

Essential Responsibilities:

Under supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist, social worker, or psychiatrist, carry a client caseload, number to be determined by the clinical team.

Develop, plan, and facilitate group therapy under supervision.

Develop and implement a program evaluation project.

Required Qualifications:

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) required in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.

Completion of an APA-accredited psychology internship program.

Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications, Microsoft Office, and statistical/data capture programs.

Competencies:

Oral and written communication skills in English, ability to convey complex information effectively to colleagues and clients.
