Principal Networking/RDMA/RoCE Engineer

The Role

AMD is seeking an influential software engineer passionate about improving the performance of key applications and benchmarks. You will be part of a core team of talented industry specialists working with the latest hardware and software technologies. The Person

The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering, possess leadership skills to resolve complex issues, and communicate effectively across teams at AMD. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop data path/control path software for next-generation DPUs/AI-NICs. Develop and automate unit tests, participate in design and code reviews. Collaborate with customer engineering teams on design and participate in debug sessions. Preferred Experience

Experience in software development in Networking, Security, RDMA, or system software domains. Strong skills in software design and programming (C/C++, Python preferred). Experience with Software Defined Networking, device drivers, high-speed packet programming, ASICs, DPDK, Security, or RDMA/RoCE. Experience with RDMA, P4 architecture/programming, or networking drivers is an advantage. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in DPU or AI-NIC development is a plus. This is a senior-level role; recent graduates are not eligible. Academic Credentials

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. #HYBRID #LI-RL1 Benefits and Additional Information
