Under the supervision of the Regional Nurse Coordinator, this position provides nursing and health services to the UConn Stamford campus. Responsibilities include patient advice and education, supporting student health, removing health barriers, early detection, and collaborating with providers. Maintains electronic records, ensures compliance with laws, policies, and protocols. May include assessments and treatments on the Storrs campus. SHaW values diversity, inclusion, and health equity. Provide advice and consultation on treatment and prevention. Coordinate care and access to health resources. Develop care plans with healthcare team. Offer health counseling and education. Assist with appointments and resources, including transportation and insurance support. Participate in presentations and committees. Conduct patient interviews, document history, and perform assessments. Administer medications and treatments per protocols. Maintain electronic records and manage supplies. Perform related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Registered Nurse in CT Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field Two years’ experience with adolescents/young adults in relevant settings Physical assessment skills CPR Certification Commitment to diversity and working with diverse populations Preferred Qualifications
Over five years of nursing experience Experience in college health, triage, case management, bilingual skills, and emergency medicine Appointment Terms
Part-time, 12-month, 21 hours/week, primarily daytime with occasional evenings/weekends. Salary based on experience. Orientation on Storrs campus may be required. Application Process
