Position Overview We are seeking a Tax Director to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice, able to sit in various offices. The ideal candidate thrives in a growing environment and is committed to providing exceptional client services.

Responsibilities

Review tax projections, workpapers, and returns, specifically Federal and State Individual and Fiduciary tax returns.

Oversee and manage the tax return process, including identifying and resolving tax issues.

Have experience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax concepts.

Mentor, train, and manage staff accountants to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads.

Manage multiple tax engagements effectively, both independently and in teams. Identify opportunities for new or expanded client services.

Lead engagements, including budgeting, billing, and engagement economics.

Maintain a highly proactive approach to client service.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Public accounting experience.

CPA certification.

10+ years of work experience in tax compliance, with specialization in individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in tax or related field (preferred).

Location and Compensation Preferred Location: Iselin

Salary Range (NYC and California): $120,000 - $250,000. The actual salary depends on experience and other factors.
