The Senior Director, Precision Medicine, Biomarker Lead - Solid Tumor plays a critical role in executing Regeneron biomarker strategies. Responsibilities include leading a team to oversee the development and execution of biomarker strategies for the Oncology Portfolio in Clinical Development. The role involves designing, developing, communicating, and implementing clinical biomarker strategies across early and late-stage drug programs, providing expertise to foster relationships with internal teams and external KOLs. Oncology programs constitute nearly half of Regeneron's growing development portfolio, including novel modalities, targets, and therapies. This role requires a minimum of 3 days onsite per week in Armonk, NY, Basking Ridge, NJ, or Cambridge, MA. Key Responsibilities:
Present biomarker strategies at senior leadership meetings. Provide strategic leadership and align cross-functional teams on biomarker strategies. Develop and implement strategies for clinical biomarkers to advance target identification, indication selection, and patient stratification. Manage and mentor the precision medicine strategy team. Oversee biomarker deliverables across the oncology portfolio, ensuring high-quality execution. Collaborate with research and development teams to incorporate precision medicine strategies. Ensure biomarker assays are fit-for-purpose, internally or externally developed. Coordinate with internal groups like Discovery Research, Molecular Profiling, and the Regeneron Genetics Center for assay validation and application. Qualifications:
Ph.D. and/or MD or equivalent. 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries, including at least 5 years in oncology clinical drug development. Ideal Candidate Attributes:
