Job Description The Vice President of Finance and Accounting will oversee the financial management and accounting practices of the organization. This senior leadership position is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. This role is crucial in providing strategic financial insights that aid in long-term and short-term decision making. Responsibilities

Direct all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting. Analyze financial results, trends, costs, and compliance; prepare reports for senior management. Guide capital financing strategies to support growth. Maintain relationships with financial institutions. Develop and enforce accounting policies and systems, ensuring adherence to GAAP. Assist in financial planning and results management, understanding revenue and cost drivers. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Coordinate tax schedules, returns, and compliance. Manage relationships with insurance providers and ensure regulatory compliance. Oversee tax planning and compliance across federal, state, local, payroll, and property taxes. Manage investment assets according to policies and guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 10 years of senior finance or accounting experience with proven management success. Strong leadership and managerial skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Deep knowledge of accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Analytical skills for process improvements and recommendations. Attention to detail. Ability to collaborate with executives and mentor team members. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree (MBA or Finance). Industry-specific experience. Experience with financial reporting requirements. Certifications
