Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer/Scientist specializing in Computational Electrodynamics, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and optimizing simulation software using advanced numerical methods, such as Finite Element Method (FEM) and Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD). This position requires a deep understanding of computational electromagnetics, excellent C++ programming skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific computing, numerical simulation, and electromagnetic theory and computation.

What You Will Do:

Develop computational electrodynamics simulation using C++ Design and implement algorithms to solve complex computational electrodynamics problems Work closely with scientists and engineers to integrate computational tools into real-world applications Continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of existing codebases Contribute to research publications, technical documentation, and presentations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation in computational electromagnetics

Requirements

Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field Strong proficiency in C++ programming, with experience in software development for scientific applications Experience with numerical methods, such as Finite Element Method (FEM) Strong understanding of electromagnetics and computational physics Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize complex algorithms for large-scale simulations Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with parallel computing and high-performance computing (HPC) Familiarity with scientific visualization tools and libraries Knowledge of additional simulation techniques such as Boundary Element Method (BEM) or Method of Moments (MoM)
