The
Principal Solutions Architect
is responsible for establishing strategic technology direction and creating solution architecture for the Pharmacy business, including Pharmacy Benefit Management implementations and complex integrations. The role involves designing technical solutions for complex business problems, aligning with technology standards, and providing strategic oversight during major transformation initiatives. The architect will guide IT project teams to deliver key solutions effectively. Key Responsibilities
Translate business strategy into solution architecture:
Lead solution architecture for large portfolios, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and clear communication of technical vision. Lead solutions design and analysis:
Define components, subsystems, and integration architecture for complex projects, ensuring seamless application integration within the ecosystem. Orchestrate solution delivery:
Communicate and ensure implementation of architecture, define governance activities, and support architecture enablers. Drive business value through collaboration:
Partner with project and product managers, and provide consulting to ensure project alignment with enterprise architecture. Maintain industry and technology expertise:
Stay updated on industry best practices, evaluate emerging technologies, and develop future architecture strategies. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 10 years experience as an infrastructure architect. Preferred: Master's degree in related field, experience with large-scale systems, Pharmacy Benefit Management, and ability to communicate complex tech topics to diverse audiences. Skills & Abilities
Strong development and integration experience. Excellent communication skills. Leadership in managing complex projects. Deep knowledge of solution and integration architecture. Understanding of emerging technologies like cloud, big data, AI/ML, etc. Additional Details
Salary Range: $150,000 - $225,000 Position does not have direct reports but involves guiding and mentoring staff. Considered a Senior Technology Leader. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
