Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Tennessee We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Tennessee. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technologist to work with cutting-edge technology and play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, as well as performing imaging procedures. Job Responsibilities: Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures. Operate specialized imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras, to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare and analyze images for physicians, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Monitor patient reactions and provide care during imaging procedures. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection standards. Maintain accurate records of procedures, doses, and patient information. Assist with quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting of nuclear medicine equipment. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications: Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-NM) required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field. Previous experience in nuclear medicine preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates. Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging techniques, and radiation safety. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide patient care in a compassionate manner. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
