Come join our Client's growing technical team as a

Network Engineer (Network Engineer II)

supporting a Federal contract. You will be responsible for helping our customers design, build, and maintain network systems that support their business operations. You will gain experience and proficiency in managing LAN/WAN/WLAN network environments to ensure the stability of diverse client networks and ecosystems. To be successful, you should be self-disciplined, work well independently and in teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical personnel in high-stress situations.

What Your Typical Day Will Be:

Provide multi-technology consulting services to analyze and develop strategies for network systems and infrastructure.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues with LAN, WAN, WLAN components, and end-device network clients.

Maintain and troubleshoot networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

Install, configure, and test updates and upgrades to network hardware and firmware.

Document all work actions in accordance with client policies and procedures.

Collaborate with client and third-party technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Perform system testing and operational tasks across various network systems.

Support multiple technical systems in a 24/7 environment with high uptime requirements, including varied shifts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to The Table:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent training.

At least five (5) years of experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and error correction on network technologies including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless devices.

Cisco CCNA certification required.

Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and implementation.

Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication skills in English, capable of interacting effectively in high-stress situations.

Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with excellent organizational skills.

Professionalism in assisting clients with technical issues.

Experience in documenting security systems using tools like Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, and SharePoint.

Must qualify for a Federal TWIC card.

Willingness to work varied shifts.

Skills: Network engineering, Firewall, Router, CCNA, Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Aruba switches, Aruba, CCNP, ACSP, Aruba Certified Switching Professional.

Additional Notes: Travel to client sites in WA, SD, VA, and Japan may be required.

Experience Level: Intermediate Level

Pay and Benefits: The salary range is $140,000 - $165,000 per year. Benefits include free HMO medical coverage, PPO options, dental, vision, 401(k) with 10% match, paid holidays, sick leave, and PTO.

Workplace: Hybrid position based in Seattle, WA.
