Job DescriptionJob Description Mitigation Project Manager – San Antonio, TX Department: Mitigation Operations Position Reports to: Operations Manager Position Type: Full-Time | Salaried | Exempt Travel Required: Yes Supervises: Restoration Technician(s) Position Summary The Mitigation Project Manager plays a key role in delivering timely, high-quality, and profitable restoration services. This position oversees all aspects of mitigation projects—water, fire, mold, and more—from initial site inspection to completion. The goal is to return customers’ properties to pre-loss condition with minimal downtime, while exceeding expectations and maintaining clear, professional communication throughout. Core Responsibilities Project Planning and Assessment Conduct or coordinate initial site inspections for assigned projects Develop estimates, job scopes, and project timelines Secure contracts and confirm payment terms Field Supervision & Coordination Lead mitigation teams throughout execution Coordinate vendors and subcontractors as needed Ensure on-site safety and adherence to quality standards Client & Team Communication Act as primary point of contact for clients, adjusters, and property managers Maintain clear documentation and timely progress updates Support technician development and team morale Compliance & Documentation Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance Maintain detailed records of costs, communications, and deliverables Track equipment usage and project documentation flow Issue Management & Financial Oversight Identify potential challenges early and resolve them efficiently Monitor project budgets and support billing processes Collaborate with Finance and Operations to track profitability and costs Qualifications Required: 3–5 years of restoration or construction project management experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Familiarity with mitigation processes and field operations Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace : Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or related field IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) Experience with Xactimate estimating software Texas Mold Remediation Worker license (can be obtained after hire) Compensation and Performance Incentives This role offers a competitive salary and a performance-based bonus structure. Compensation is tied to project outcomes, quality of delivery, and customer satisfaction. Additional uncapped commissions are available for lead and signed work.
