Doc-Side Veterinary Medical Center
in Baltimore, Maryland is hiring a
veterinarian experienced in soft tissue surgery and dentistry
to join our compassionate and collaborative team. This is an ideal opportunity for a small animal veterinarian who enjoys performing general surgeries and dental procedures and is interested in leadership growth within a well-established, Fear Free certified practice.
Located in the heart of historic
Fells Point , our 4-doctor small animal and exotics practice has proudly served the Baltimore community since 1999. Doc-Side features 5 exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, and advanced diagnostic and dental equipment to support a heavy surgical caseload. We care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets and emphasize high-quality, client-centered medicine in a calm and supportive environment.
What You'll Do as a Veterinarian:
Perform a wide range of
general soft tissue surgeries : spays/neuters, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, etc. Provide advanced
dental care and oral surgery , supported by intraoral radiology and trained staff. Deliver gold-standard
preventive care and medical treatment
in a Fear Free environment. Collaborate with a skilled team of veterinarians with special interests in internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and preventive care. Mentor and grow with the support of experienced doctors and
leadership development opportunities .
Veterinarian Requirements:
DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland 2+ years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred Strong surgical and dental skills Passion for teamwork, mentorship, and delivering excellent patient care

Our part-time employees are eligible for: An annual CE allowance prorated to $1,500/year Reimbursement for license fees - state, controlled substance, and DEA, as well as AVMA membership dues Our 401(k) retirement savings program with company match Employee discounting for veterinary clinic services Our employee assistance programs
