Job Title: Home Health Aide (HHA)Location: Waterview Nursinmg Care CenterJob Type: Full-TimeReports To: Nursing Supervisor / RNPosition Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our care team at Waterview Nursing Care Center, a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. The HHA will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being in accordance with each resident's care plan and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.Key Responsibilities- Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to nursing staffProvide companionship and emotional support to residentsMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residentsHelp residents with exercises and mobility as directed by care plans or physical therapyAssist with feeding residents and ensuring proper hydrationDocument care provided and resident responses accurately and in a timely mannerComply with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsMaintain resident confidentiality and uphold dignity and respect at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredValid HHA certification in the state of [State]CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on state)Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferredAbility to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staffPhysical ability to lift, move, and assist residents as neededStrong organizational and time-management skillsWorking Conditions:Fast-paced healthcare environment with direct patient carePotential exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluidsRequires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents regularlyWaterview Nursing Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
