Job Description
Assist the Director of Ringhaver Student Center in with providing event and operation services at the Student Center
Responsibilities
Event Services Event technology set up/ tear down Event furniture set up/ tear down On-site assistance during events including troubleshooting technology, adjusting technology, hosting, adjusting event furniture, taking attendance, and oversight Information Desk Services
Providing campus event information to customers Providing general campus information to customers Checking out video game controllers Checking out group study room Building and Lounge Services
Stocking lounge equipment and counting attendance in lounges Patrolling building to report building and safety issues that need to be addressed Troubleshooting technology issues in the lounges Rearranging lounge furniture Submitting electronic shift report Opening tasks, including unlocking rooms, turning on lights, and putting out equipment into its proper location in the lounges Closing tasks, including locking rooms, turning off equipment, room schedule sheet changing, and putting away equipment Inventory
Preparing lounge items and event items for storage Moving lounge items and event items into the correct location within storage areas Qualifications
Must be a full-time Flagler College student
Previous work or volunteer experience that involved events Previous work or volunteering experience that involved talking to customers in person
Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to push carts full of equipment Walking or standing during events can last as long as 1 hour Some shifts include working outside events
