Qblox
Your mission
Qblox is always looking for talented application scientists to help us build industrial-scale quantum computers with our customers! We provide our customers with quantum control stacks that generate the analogue signals needed for the control and readout of superconducting qubits. Our application scientists team have hands-on experience in working superconducting qubit systems for their control and readout. We strive to bring in qualified scientists that excel in setting up experimental setups and have the knowledge of executing standard measurements. In this job, you will: Demonstrate Qblox control stacks' capabilities in our field labs with cold superconducting & spin qubits and at customer labs for qubit measurements Create new relations and manage existing relations with customers working on qubits with the goal of various use cases such as scaling up, quantum error correction, and novel methods or for entry level experiments (Co-)author white and scientific publications Represent Qblox at conferences - Visit customers around the world Connect to our hardware and software teams to improve our user experience Work with the Quantum Success engineering team for training and onboarding of users Work with the sales engineering team for sales activities and account management Work with the marketing team in creating marketing material (website, videos) For this role, we are looking for a scientist with:
A PhD in physics with experimental quantum computing on superconducting/spin qubits or relevant research Good communication skills for engaging with customers A hands-on mentality in making superconducting/spin circuit experimental setups work Experience in building and debugging experimental setups with RF signals, microwaves, DC equipment, cryostats, QPUs, and other general lab equipment Programming skills in Python A drive to stay up to date with scientific literature in quantum technology, specifically on superconducting circuits Affinity with sales and marketing (experience is a pro) Charismatic, enthusiastic, outgoing Fluency in Professional English About us
At Qblox, we are operating at the frontier of the quantum revolution, delivering advanced technologies essential for building Quantum Computers. This rapidly growing field is set to impact society on a global scale. With a dedicated team of scientists, engineers, and developers, we push quantum technology forward to support experimentalists worldwide with our scalable qubit control and readout equipment. Since 2019, Qblox has grown into a dynamic company with 130+ innovative, international minds all driven by our mission. We are thrilled to announce the opening of our
new US office in Boston, Massachusetts , an exciting milestone in our journey. This presents a unique opportunity to join Qblox at the start of our expansion in the United States.
