Litigation Associate Attorney Job Overview: A well-established law firm located in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its expanding practice, focusing on insurance defense matters. This role offers hands-on experience working directly with senior attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case inception to trial. Duties: Handle an active caseload in insurance defense litigation Conduct written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production Take and defend depositions Draft motions and oppositions, including motions for summary judgment Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda as needed Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on trial preparation and court appearances Maintain clear, organized documentation of all case activities Requirements: Civil litigation experience preferred. Previous experience in Medical Malpractice is a plus. Familiarity with insurance defense practices; medical malpractice exposure is advantageous.
