Growing Chicago based firm looking to add a talented Electrical Project Engineer to their team!
Responsibilities:
Projects include the study/design of roadway and site lighting, traffic signals for State/municipal clients and ITS improvements for public agencies. Design pump station electrical systems, generator sizing and site electrical improvements. Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates and preliminary studies. Supervise/mentor other staff on larger projects. Coordinate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Review and check engineering work completed by staff. Build/maintain client relationships. Mentor/train junior staff. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering. 5+ years of experience. PE License or ability to obtain in two years. Proficient in MicroStation. Experience with IDOT/Illinois Tollway projects preferred. CDOT/INDOT experience preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
