We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Full Stack Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in implementing innovative technologies within Apollo Capital Solutions (ACS). ACS provides companies with centralized and efficient access to capital by supporting cross-platform origination, capital markets, and syndication. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, proficient programmer with excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with investment professionals. This individual will work closely with colleagues to build foundational infrastructure from the ground up, owning the full software development lifecycle and delivering high-quality solutions. The candidate must have a proven ability to adapt quickly, embrace new technologies, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities Serve as a key member of the Investment Technology team, responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and implementing business solutions and architectural changes. Apply Agile programming approaches to deliver software within tight deadlines. Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, design, development, code reviews, quality assurance, and support. Define and execute the strategic vision for the DealCloud Deal Pipeline Management Platform. Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align the platform’s roadmap with business objectives. Support customizing Salesforce NexGen CRM experience for various teams and build system features to improve business processes. Participate in design discussions, contribute to code reviews, and provide technical guidance. Navigate changing priorities with agility and maintain a forward-thinking mindset. Build strong relationships with team members, fostering collaboration and effective communication. Use advanced problem-solving skills to research and select tools, frameworks, and products supporting business initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field. 15+ years of hands-on development experience, proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and object-oriented programming (e.g., Java, C++). Capital Markets/Investment Banking Technology experience supporting origination, syndication, and trading workflows. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. Strong proficiency in relational and non-relational databases, query optimization, and data warehousing. Experience building, deploying, and maintaining high-throughput systems with messaging technologies like Kafka. Hands-on with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git. Commitment to clean, maintainable code and delivering robust full-stack cloud applications. Experience in Agile environments with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, etc. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, .NET, and advanced data management. Expertise in cloud and DevOps practices for scalable applications. Ability to translate complex business logic into optimized workflows. Leadership Skills Strong leadership and team management capabilities, inspiring diverse teams. Project management skills with Agile methodology knowledge. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical concepts clearly. Interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams. Additional Skills Experience with CRM systems and pipeline tools. Knowledge of investment products and derivatives relevant to Apollo’s business lines. Proficiency in data manipulation using Azure Data Services, SQL, and APIs is a plus.
