Job Description

Serves as graphic designer for the University of Tennessee Football program, focused primarily on the generation and publishing of digital content for both external audiences and prospective student-athletes. Executes tasks as assigned by the Director of Football Social Media & Creative Strategy. Works within and abides by NCAA compliance rules.

Responsibilities

Strategize and design visual content, specifically graphics and edits for prospective student-athletes as assigned by the director of content. Emphasis on social graphic creation as well as recruiting mailers, in addition to building content for current student-athletes to promote Tennessee football. Must apply strong multi-tasking and creative skills with advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Design creative elements for PowerPoint presentations and recruiting official and unofficial visits for the coaching/recruiting staffs. Assist the Director of Football Social Media & Creative Strategy in photoshoots and capturing content at recruiting official and unofficial visits. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree Experience:

Previous graphic design experience working with a Division I or professional sports team. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong creative, multi-tasking and collaborative skills. Certain technical knowledge is required, including proficiency in social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as extensive experience with software such as the Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to work within and abide by NCAA, SEC and institutional compliance rules. Ability to monitor and recognize current trends in digital and social media and identify best practices to assist the football program. Preferred Qualifications

Experience:

Experience working directly in a FBS football program recruiting department and/or creative team. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to create compelling and engaging social and digital content, specifically for prospective student-athletes. Ability to productively collaborate and communicate with the football external team.
