Details Client NameWhite Plains Hospital - WH Job TypePermanent OfferingAllied ProfessionRadiology SpecialtyRad Tech Job ID33124622 Job TitleRadiology Technical Manager (Ambulatory) Shift Details ShiftDay - 8x5 - 08AM Scheduled Hours40 Job Order Details Start Date07/23/2025 Job DescriptionShift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMDescription:Understands and adheres to performance standards, policies, and behaviors.Utilizes the nursing process to meet age-specific needs of the patient in all aspects of care: biophysical, psychosocial, education, safety/environment, and discharge planning.Uses appropriate steps in decision-making, including recognition and prioritization related to patient care and unit-based concerns.Addresses patient care issues with appropriate actions.Collaborates and communicates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.Integrates patient rights and nursing ethics into professional practice.Follows infection control standards to minimize the risk of infection to patients and staff.Complies with National Patient Safety Goals.Delegates activities to ancillary staff in line with the State Nurse Practice Act.Adheres to the Code of Nursing Ethics and Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice.Practices within a professional nursing model.Participates in performance improvement initiatives.Completes all competency requirements.Attends mandatory in-services and required staff meetings.Utilizes cost-containment practices.Assumes Charge Nurse responsibilities when needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current New York RN license.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all external RNs hired on or after January 1, 2018.RNs hired between January 1, 2016, and December 31, 2017, must have a BSN or show proof of enrollment and completion by January 1, 2020.RNs hired before January 1, 2016, must complete BSN by January 1, 2022.Familiarity with current nursing, medical, and health practices.One year of acute care nursing experience preferred (excluding medical-surgical or step-down units).Current BLS certification is required.ACLS certification is required (exceptions apply for specific units).Inexperienced nurses must obtain ACLS within 12 months; experienced nurses within 6 months.PALS certification is required for nurses in PACU, Pediatrics, Emergency, Urgent Care, and Ambulatory Surgery (same certification timelines as ACLS).NRP certification required for nurses in Mother-Baby, Labor & Delivery, and NICU units (must be obtained within 6 months).Successful completion of department and unit orientation program.
