Job Title: Production WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated individuals for a floater role in production. Your main tasks will include loading materials onto the production line, stacking materials as they come off the line, performing visual quality inspections, cutting tiles to size, and stacking or palletizing finished tiles. The role requires lifting tiles independently up to 50 pounds, with team lifts for heavier items.ResponsibilitiesLoad materials onto the production line efficiently.Stack and palletize finished materials.Perform visual quality inspections on products.Cut tiles to specified sizes.Operate and maintain machinery and equipment.Handle materials, including using hand and power tools.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience in machine operation or production line work.Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.Experience in assembly, production, and machine operation.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with visual quality inspection.Skills in packing and palletizing.Familiarity with forklift operations is beneficial.Why Work Here?Our company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for advancement within production areas. Employees will work with fiberglass, which may cause sensitivity; however, protective equipment is provided to mitigate this. The role requires the wearing of gloves, earplugs, and safety glasses. Shifts include a 2nd shift from 2:50 pm to 12:50 am Monday to Thursday, with Friday for overtime, and a 3rd shift from 9 pm to 7 am Monday to Saturday.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, Ohio.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
