DescriptionPosition Title: Clinical Supervisor Reports To: Director of Shelter Operations/Quality Control Department: Social Services Employment Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Exempt Position Status: EssentialGENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Client Care Coordinators ability to assess each family to understand their strengths and determine their service needs.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversees Client Care CoordinatorsResponsible for ensuring that the responsibilities of Client Care Coordinators are being fulfilledProvide accountability oversight to ensure compliance with DHS regulationsMonitor, review and approve all Client Care Coordinators cases for day to day documentation, including progress notes, and other assessmentsAssist with performance evaluationsMust provide job coaching to Client Care Coordinators as necessarySupervision of Client Care CoordinatorsConduct monthly meetings with all Client Care CoordinatorsFacilitates a team review of the biopsychosocial assessmentPlan and prep meetings with Client Care Coordinators and other staff membersEstablish connections with other agencies to networkProvides short-term counseling, crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning and psycho-education (not psychotherapy)In the event of an emergency, Essential Employees are required to report to work as scheduledDuties and responsibilities are subject to change based upon assessment of company needsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMust be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Knowledge of child and adolescent development; emotional/behavioral health; mental health, parent-child relationships; family dynamics and diagnostic classificationStrong expertise in strength-based, solution-focused, and family-centered practiceKnowledge of guidelines, policies and regulations relating to child welfare, safety, permanency and wellnessKnowledge and experience with group-work, as well as, working with diverse cultures and ethnicitiesMust be able to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)RequirementsLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Supervisory ExperienceBilingual in SpanishStrong expertise in strength-based, solution-focused, and family-centered practiceKnowledge of guidelines, policies and regulations relating to child welfare, safety, permanency and wellness
