In this role, you'll be instrumental in streamlining business processes and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable plans. You'll collaborate with agencies to resolve system issues, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations across the state. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive test plans, creating detailed documentation, and providing functional expertise to developers during system enhancements. You'll also contribute to the design, upgrade, and implementation of system modules, including the development of policies, procedures, and training materials. As a key member of our team, you'll provide development and analysis for AZ360 and other supported systems, working closely with users and team members to define system specifications. You'll assist in maintaining system configurations, providing user support, and delivering training through various mediums, including virtual classrooms and computer-based training. Furthermore, you'll support communication efforts between the Enterprise Resource Planning Division and its customers, contributing to the development and maintenance of online resources and electronic forms. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.Job Duties:Assists with the implementation of approved changes to application software and/or reports to maintain current standards, correct problems, and enhance application functionalityParticipates in the definition of functional and technical requirements for application software and/or reportsAssists with the development of application procedures and documentation for usage, operation, backup and recovery, problem resolution, shutdown and initialization, and process automation (in cooperation with technical support and operations staff)Tests application software and/or reports in cooperation with agencies, ADOA personnel, and end-users to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, completeness, and performance; performs other systems-related duties as requiredAssists in streamlining business practices, including oral and written communication and meetings with state agency financial personnel.Recommends improved operational procedures to maximize systems efficiencyParticipates in planning, development and implementation of training for the statewide financial and HR systemConfers with divisional management to ascertain training needs and goals, and develops and modifies new/existing documentation and training curriculumAssists with the development of application software and/or report procedures and documentation for usage, recovery, and problem resolutionIndependently conducts virtual training classes on a statewide basis for the statewide financial and HR systemPerforms TRACORP administrative duties, including running course reports, pulling class rosters, adding content, and assigning contentKnowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of:Methods and techniques of development of data processing relating to large financial and HR systemsBasic PC applications (Microsoft and Google Suite)Advanced PC applications including: Articulate Storyline & RISE, AdobeReference materials such as federal regulations, Arizona Revised Statutes, applicable agency manuals including the Department of Administration, Enterprise Resource Planning Division, Statewide Accounting and HR system manuals, policies and procedures Research methodologies, quality assurance and final technical report referencing as well as spreadsheet techniques and statistical samplingState functional business processes related to Statewide systems as a user or technical support specialistPrinciples, concepts, practices, methods and techniques of government accounting, audit methodologies, internal control structures, accountability, and fiscal managementPrinciples of employee training programs and materials, methods of education especially adult learning training methods, techniques and equipment, methods of training evaluation and measurements, with the emphasis on the virtual environmentSkills in:Management of work organization and accomplishmentReading and interpreting detailed technical information;
