This role presents a great opportunity for someone with a passion for SEO, strong attention to detail, and a desire to advance their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced marketing environment.As a SEO Specialist, you'll support broader SEO team goals increasing SROA's visibility and search engine rankings with day-to-day optimization, auditing, reporting, and implementation efforts. You'll play a vital role in improving search visibility across hundreds of localized and national pages, collaborating with internal stakeholders and agency partners to ensure SEO best practices are followed and prioritized.This is a growth-focused role offering hands-on experience across multiple SEO disciplines including, but not limited to, technical, on-page, and localized content with the opportunity to take on more strategic responsibilities as you grow within the team.Duties and Responsibilities:Content & On-Page OptimizationContinuously audit and optimize existing web content for targeted keywords, improved readability, page metadata, and structured markup.Assist in the development of content briefs, keyword research, and SEO-driven content strategies.Work with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied to new and updated pages.Local & Multi-Location SEOMonitor and maintain local SEO assets, including Google Business Profiles, local citations, and hundreds of location-specific pages.Measurement & ReportingTrack and analyze keyword performance, traffic trends, rankings, and other SEO KPIs using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, and SEMRush.Collaboration & Project Support Collaborate with the SEO Manager, developers, content stakeholders to support SEO initiatives and address technical issues related to items such as mobile friendliness, page displays, broken links, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, etc.Help manage and coordinate deliverables with third-party SEO vendors and agencies, ensuring alignment with internal goals.Market Research & Trends Stay current on search engine algorithm updates and emerging SEO trends.Proactively identify areas for testing, innovation, or optimization.Qualifications:2-4 years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical, on-page, and off-page SEO; multi-location SEO experience is a strong advantage.Familiarity with technical SEO concepts including site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and indexation.Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.Strong research and analytical skills; comfortable interpreting data and turning insights into actions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly document findings and explain technical topics to non-technical teams.Experience optimizing websites with a large number of pages or multi-location structure is a plus.Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (headless CMS experience is a plus).Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.SROA Offers: Competitive pay with bonus potentialUKG Wallet - on-demand pay option100% paid medical coverage options for employee-onlyDental and vision plans for optimal careEight (8) paid holidaysGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO), increasing with years of servicePaid Maternity and Parental Leave for growing families401(k) with substantial employer match and 100% immediate vestingFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (DCFSA) for tax-advantaged savingsGAP Insurance for added financial protectionEmployer-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability coverageLong-Term Disability (LTD) coverage for added peace of mindPet insurance - because your pets are family tooStorage Discounts to help you declutter and organizeAccess to Voluntary Benefits for personalized coverageLearning and development opportunities to maximize your potential and excel in your careerA great culture that values collaboration, innovation, and inclusivitySROA is an Equal Opportunity employer and uses the federal government E-Verify system to verify employment eligibility.
