You'll be part of a team that is resilient and seeks fairness by listening to patients and providing patient-centered care.About the Role:As an LPN Supervisor at Neighborhood, you'll use your training, organizational skills, attention to detail, and influencing skills as you perform nursing tasks and help ensure an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include:Provides direct leadership to the LPN desk nurses and MA support team including daily oversight, on-boarding of new employees, and department schedulingMaintains a cooperative relationship among health care team by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport and participating in team problem solving methodsCollaborates and successfully carries out, with the other nursing supervisors, recruitment, scheduling, training, development, coaching, performance appraisals, and, when necessary, progressive discipline of nursing staff to allow for a cohesive nursing teamDevelops, maintains and holds nursing department staff accountable to training protocols for all positions within the nursing departmentMaintains nursing job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job resultsIntercedes to support patients in clinical issues and complaints as soon as able; assists in de-escalating, documenting, and supporting resolutionFunctions as a Licensed Practical Nurse in direct patient careYou will be primarily based at our Mattina location, 300 Niagara St. in Buffalo, and will travel to other Neighborhood sites in Western New York as needed.What it's Like to Work at Neighborhood:The top three words employees say describe the work environment are: teamwork, supportive, kind.
