We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens position in Massachusetts. This opportunity offers a 60-day assignment starting on 07/07/2025, with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services in a clinical setting, including routine and specialized eye exams, medical eye care, and contact lens fittings. The ophthalmologist will be responsible for managing a high-volume patient load of 40-50 patients per day, performing various examinations and tests such as dilated eye exams, slit lamp examinations, tonometry, visual acuity tests, and refractions. The role involves diagnosing and managing conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and macular degeneration. No surgical procedures are required for this position.
