JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Harrisburg, PA Service Setting: Hospital Operating Rooms and Offsite Anesthesia Locations Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: 08/18/2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: MonFri; 8- and 10-hour shifts required; some 12s available; 20 shifts/month expected; NO 16s; occasional night or weekend shifts may be offered On-Call Shift Schedule: None COVERAGE DATES Start date August 18, 2025 Ongoing need due to turnover vacancy PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults only Phone Consults: No Case Mix: Total joints, bariatric, robotic, spine, urology, plastics, ENT, endoscopy, occasional IR or brachytherapy FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Anesthesia workstations, OR and ENDO setup Specialty Backup Available: MD anesthesiologists, SRNA students Support Staff Available: Full anesthesia team, 1:3 staffing ratio Reason for Coverage: Turnover Vacancy PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered Rate: TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES General CRNA duties in surgical and procedural anesthesia Regional anesthesia experience a plus but not required JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license required Board: Board Certified CRNA DEA: Not required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty Other Qualifications: Must be willing to work 8- and 10-hour shifts; unwilling candidates will not be considered.
