JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Urgent Care Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Waimea, HI Service Setting: Outpatient (Urgent Care Clinic) Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Asap Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Clinic open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; 8 or 10-hour shifts available COVERAGE DATES ASAP Ongoing PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and Children (typical urgent care population) Admissions: No Case Mix: General urgent care FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 49 beds in facility Reason for Coverage: Supplemental COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active HI medical license required Board: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine DEA: Active Certifications: BLS Experience: Minimum 2 years in urgent care or related field DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive urgent care to walk-in patients Diagnose and treat a variety of non-emergent illnesses and injuries Manage patient flow and coordinate care efficiently during long shifts Document visits accurately per clinic protocols Communicate effectively with staff and patients in a fast-paced environment
