KBR is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Technician to support manufacturing, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and electro-mechanical systems. This role requires expertise in high-reliability soldering, cable assembly, and precision electro-mechanical integration for aerospace, defense, and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex assembly, integration, and testing of electronic and electro-mechanical systems in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Perform high-reliability soldering and cable/harness fabrication.
Assemble and fabricate cables, harnesses, and subassemblies using hand tools, pneumatic tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments.
Conduct functional, environmental, and electrical testing, including voltage verification, and continuity checks.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PCB-level defects.
Operate manufacturing equipment such as pick-and-place machines, wave soldering systems, reflow ovens, coating equipment, and underfill machines.
Maintain accurate documentation, including quality records, traveler sheets, and work orders.
Ensure compliance with ESD, FOD, AS/ISO, and SPACE handling specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements.
Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians.
Work Environment:
Location: On-site
Travel Requirements: Minimal 20%
Working Hours: Standard
Basic Compensation:
$86,700 - $130,000 USD annually
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Required:
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
10+ years of electronics or electro-mechanical technician experience in aerospace, defense, or related industries.
IPC J-STD & NASA workmanship standards strongly preferred.
Proficiency with schematic and mechanical drawing interpretation.
Skilled in troubleshooting using diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
Familiarity with ISO/AS quality systems and government/military manufacturing standards.
Desired:
Security Clearance: Secret
Experience with DoD aerospace systems.
Knowledge of conformal coating processes and application.
