Job Description Summary

The EHS & Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the development of all Facilities and Engineering controlled documentation including standard operating procedures, change controls, deviations, risk assessments, and corrective/preventative actions.

The position will be responsible for overseeing the health and safety program at the Horsham site including incident management/investigations, hazardous and medical waste disposal, site emergency response, and ensure compliance with OSHA and Endo safety regulations.

This position will provide Facilities project support for the design, construction, and implementation of Facilities and Engineering projects. This position supports the Horsham manufacturing facility, labs, and warehouse.

All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Site Manufacturing & Horsham Campus

Author and maintain Facilities controlled documentation in support of the quality management system to include standard operating procedures, change controls, deviations, risk assessments, and corrective/preventative actions

Manage the site Health and Safety programs including incident management, hazardous and medical waste disposal, site emergency response, and compliance with OSHA and Endo safety regulations

Provide Facilities project support for the design, construction, and implementation of Facilities and Engineering projects to include project management, commissioning/validation support, drawing support, and proposals

On Call (unassisted) for responding to equipment/ building / security alarms 24 hours per day, 7 days per week plus emergencies. Individual will be part of the on-call rotation and will be required to respond to off-hours alarm when scheduled

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

2-year technical school degree or equivalent experience. High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience working in a GMP environment preferred

Experience project management, including coordination with external vendors and contractors

Proficiency with Microsoft suite and Computer Systems

Training in AutoCAD preferred

Knowledge

Knowledge of OSHA safe work practices

Knowledge of NFPA safety standards

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

Skills & Abilities

Documentation and technical writing skills

Must be able to coordinate multiple contract services simultaneously

Good communication and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Exposure to elements (i.e. hot weather, cold weather, precipitation) for brief periods.

Operate computer-controlled equipment which requires a combination of standing, sitting, and walking to and from the operator interface terminal

Required to work around live electrical circuits and mechanical devices in the execution of their duties

Required to work around hazardous and medical waste
