Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting and Analysis * Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. * Conduct variance analysis and deliver insights to management. * Accounts Receivable and Payable * Manage invoicing and collections in coordination with the sales team. * Oversee vendor invoice processing and payment authorization. * Account Reconciliation and General Ledger * Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet accounts. * Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate transaction recording. * Month-End and Year-End Closings * Lead closing procedures, including journal entries and financial book finalization. * Human Resources and Payroll Support * Facilitate onboarding, payroll processing, and bonus/commission calculations. * Collaborate with executives on benefits and open enrollment planning. * Compliance and Tax Reporting * Ensure adherence to GAAP, IRS regulations, and other accounting standards. * Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns. * ESOP and Stakeholder Reporting * Support ESOP trustee and valuation partners with financial data and documentation. * Process Optimization * Identify and implement improvements to accounting and CRM-related workflows.
Qualification Requirements:
* Strong background in construction or project-based accounting environments.
Skills and Competencies:
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial trends. * Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences. * Proficient in accounting and CRM-integrated platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Monday, Ramp). * Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Education and Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
