Project manager to lead the multiple projects to meet our Transformation deliverables in collaboration with Data Digital and Core Custody Product and Technology. This role will support the Custody business within the Custody Operations team. The individual will be responsible for contributing to the Operations data model to support Risk Reduction commitments across the Custody Operations portfolio. They will lead the deliverables working closely with technology and other Project leads to deliver data required for metrics and key initiatives for Custody Operations. The main projects will include data definition, data sourcing and business logic to support reporting plus system implementation and changes. Additional projects may involve: process optimization, Digital First, and regulatory mandates.
Job Background/context:
Securities Services Operations comprises of multiple operations groups supporting our Custody (Global and Direct), Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Securities Lending and Issuer Services businesses.
The individual will have a strong operational focus and will provide an integrated value-added service to our clients.
The role will require the successful candidate to form effective working relationships with all stakeholders Technology, Product, Market Management, Processing teams, Coverage teams, etc. ensuring that all key project deliverables are met. The successful candidate will be required to have a strong and detailed understanding of data flows, end-to-end operations and act as the client advocate.
They will be required to interface with internal stakeholders at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management for Operations delivery of key data required for the programs as part of the Risk Reduction projects for Custody, supporting and contributing to a new data model, taking responsibility for making sure projects are delivered successfully
Agile creation or contribution to a delivery team to implement and roll out of platforms working closely with Product, Technology and Operations SMEs
Responsible for project governance, organization, delivery, planning and control, and risk and issue management for Operations
Proactive identification and management of project risks, ensuring that the all stakeholders have an appropriate appreciation of the key risks and that the required steps to mitigate these risks are complete
Issue tracking and management ensuring that the appropriate stakeholders are in agreement with the resolution steps
People leadership and stakeholder management with a range of senior leaders
Responsible for staff development and career progression
Foster a culture of high performance and risk/control management.
Development Value: Key role with high visibility and exposure to people at all levels, including interaction in various business areas
