IT Manager
to lead and optimize our site technology operations. The IT Manager role will be located on-site in our El Paso, Texas office. Position Summary: The IT Manager is responsible for managing, organizing, and optimizing systems, networks, and IT assets across designated DATAMARK locations. The IT Manager ensures smooth, secure, and efficient IT operations, while driving continuous improvement and alignment with business goals. The ideal IT Manager candidate brings deep expertise in systems, networks, and security management, along with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Planning Contribute to the development and execution of DATAMARK’s IT strategy and technology roadmap. Recommend and implement technical solutions to improve operational efficiency. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. IT Infrastructure Management Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, and user devices. Ensure system availability, scalability, and security. Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery. Team Leadership Lead and mentor IT teams across multiple sites. Recruit, train, and evaluate team performance. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments. Information Security & Data Protection Collaborate with the Security department to enforce IT security policies and compliance. Monitor and respond to security risks and vulnerabilities. Ensure robust backup systems and data protection protocols. Budgeting & Resource Allocation Manage the IT budget and recommend cost-effective investments. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new technologies and upgrades. Partner with purchasing to evaluate vendor performance and value. IT Support & Troubleshooting Provide technical guidance and support to end-users. Ensure effective incident, change, and asset management aligned with ITIL best practices. Monitor service levels and maintain IT asset inventories. Project Management Lead IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and manage expectations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, and networks across multiple locations. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection regulations, and compliance standards. Hands-on experience with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. Strong vendor management and budgeting experience. Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel occasionally to support designated sites.
