Description:Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Scientist We are offering a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance as part of the total compensation package for this role. It includes a 24-month repayment agreement. We are willing to consider candidates who need TN visas and are working on F-1 visas, but not H-1B visas. How you’ll contributeA Medical Technologist who excels in this role:Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing.Collects samples and analyze bodily fluids and substances for abnormalities. Collects blood and study blood samples used in transfusionsOperates laboratory equipment in a high-quality, effective manner.Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and reports/documents results per organizational standards.Performs automated tests using computerized instruments & automated equipment.Performs manual tests based on detailed instructions from a physician.Runs tests and analyzes the results to be reported to the patient, physician or registered nurse.Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment. Additionally:Completion of National Registry Exam for Medical Technologist (offered through ASCP or AMT) preferred.NV General Laboratory Supervisor License (status of application "pending" for up to 9 months post hire) or must have ASCP or AMT certification with CLT "pending" license status for up to 3 months prior to obtaining General Lab Supervisors License upon hire.
