LC State invites applications for the position of Program Assistant for Student Work Programs. Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $50,044 - $53,044 Degree Required:
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university Required Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal, organization, time management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Work experience in higher education. Flexibility to work in an open office environment and actively collaborate with other staff members. Experience using situational awareness to provide excellent and adaptable customer service in a variety of situations. Responsibilities: Managing the Work Scholar program. Managing the Federal, State, and JOB Work-study programs. Developing and presenting training materials for aid-based student work programs. Working with internal and external employer partners and supervisors to support student workers. Assisting students and families with general guidance on financial aid and scholarship processes, including completing the FAFSA, scholarship, and other financial forms or documents. Lead on the communication plan for Student Financial Services, including the development of correspondence and the establishment of timelines. Making presentations about financial aid, scholarship, and aid-based work programs to prospective students, current students, and high school counselors. Partnering with other office staff on projects and assignments. Serving on campus committees as needed. Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students. Other duties as assigned. Application Procedure:
