Adecco is hiring a

Remote Patient Service Representative

to support patient intake, service coordination, and documentation processing. In this role, you will assist patients, providers, and referral sources by answering inbound calls, verifying information, and guiding users through program criteria and web portals.

Must live in Richmond, VA area as you will be required to attend occasional team meetings in office.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and manage incoming calls in assigned queue

Verify patient and provider identity using HIPAA-compliant protocols

Enter and update patient data in internal systems

Communicate program details clearly to patients and providers

Assist users with navigating web portals

Process and validate documentation, including income and eligibility verifications

Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary forms

Ensure accurate and timely database updates

Qualifications:

1+ year of customer service experience; healthcare or insurance preferred

Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills

Basic math skills for income-based eligibility calculations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience with health insurance systems (Medicare a plus)

High attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload

Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive health-related topics

Pay Details:

$18.75 per hour
