Compensation Range

Hourly: $26.25 - $45.45 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide day-to-day support of Commercial Banking applications and assist with developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization and meet the needs of the end users. The Systems Analyst will help to define system requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with new or existing applications, systems, or platforms.

Essential Functions

Collaborate as a Business Line Systems resource with IT and Business teams, assisting to implement technical solutions for the business needs

Assist in translating business needs into system or process solutions under guidance from senior team members

Complete User Acceptance Testing of system updates, changes, and enhancements

Assist in system requirements gathering based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with new or existing applications, systems, or platforms

Provide end user systems support, consultation, and recommendations in resolving technical problems

Assist with monitoring systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, troubleshoot, and respond to user inquiries

Research, analyze, assist with the design, testing, and implementation of applications, sometimes working in cooperation with internal departments and vendors

Utilize systems to assist design and provide requirements to generate requested reports

Participate on projects that impact the Commercial Line of Business

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Knowledge of the Agile project methodology

Demonstrated initiative and innovative thinking skills

Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria for system epics and features

Relationship building skills to work effectively with a variety of individuals at all levels throughout the bank and provide excellent internal customer service.

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision

Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

General understanding of the following technologies preferred: Database structures, application support, general knowledge of APIs, applications, and IT security

Education & Experience

Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

1+ years’ experience systems or data analysis required

2+ years’ experience in banking or another financial industry preferred

Experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives preferred.

*Hybrid Schedule: In office 2 days per week

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $26.25 to $45.45 per hour.
